MOGADISHU -- The Somali National Army (SNA) said its forces killed 60 al-Shabab terrorists who attacked two military bases in southern Somalia on Friday.
The SNA commander Daud Abukar Abdi who led the operations told SNA Radio on Saturday that two al-Shabab commanders are among those killed during a security operation in Lower Shabelle after the troops repulsed an attack on Sabiid and Anole military camps in the southern part of the country. MEXICO CITY -- At least eight people were dead and three missing after Hurricane Grace hit eastern Mexico, Cuitlahuac Garcia, governor of the state of Veracruz, reported on Saturday.
Grace, the second Atlantic hurricane of the season, made landfall in the early hours of Saturday with winds of up to 205 km per hour, leading to severe flooding in more than 20 municipalities in Veracruz. (Mexico-Hurricane Grace)

NEW DELHI -- An Indian army trooper was killed and several others hospitalised on Saturday after they collapsed during a training session in the northern Indian state of Punjab, officials said.
The incident took place at Mamun military station in Pathankot district, about 237 km north of Chandigarh, the capital city of Punjab. (India-Training-Death)

SANAA -- Ten Houthi rebels were killed by Saudi-led Arab coalition airstrikes in Yemen's central province of Marib on Saturday, a Yemeni government military source told Xinhua.
"The ten, including three high-ranking leaders, were hit while driving in two vehicles in Sirwah district, a few miles east of Al-Kasarah frontline," the source in Marib said on condition of anonymity. (Yemen-Houthi-Killed)
